Enjoyed playing golf and fishing nearby, and the free WiFi was a treat. The cottage had all the amenities I needed, including a dining area and washing machine. The beautiful natural surroundings of Cornwall added to the charm.
Oh, how I loved struggling with a faulty shower mixer and clogged air vents. Quite the adventure, really.

It's the perfect spot for golf enthusiasts, with stunning views and convenient access. The cottage itself felt like a cozy home rather than a hotel, providing all the basics and plenty of private space. Plus, it's within walking distance to town, with supermarkets, pubs, and restaurants nearby.
My kids wished there was a playground on the property.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to assist us during our stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of towels provided. The location was fantastic, with the city center, restaurants, and must-see attractions all within walking distance. the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options to satisfy every palate.
Nothing, everything was great.

The room at Cherrywood Manor was simply delightful! It had a lovely first-floor bathroom with an L-shaped bath and a shower over it. The bathroom was so cozy, and I really enjoyed taking a relaxing bath after a long day of exploring. It made me feel right at home.
Personally, I would have preferred if the bathroom had both a bath and a shower.

My children wanted a play area or some entertainment suitable for families.

The location of the hotel was ideal, right in the heart of town and close to bars and restaurants. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. Bodmin itself had supermarkets, pubs, and restaurants, making it a convenient location. Traveling to other holiday spots was easy, and there was a Lidl supermarket just 100 yards away.
Felt more at home than in a hotel, no complaints at all.

My recent stay at Cherrywood Manor was superb. The location was excellent, with supermarkets, pubs, and restaurants in close proximity. It was also easy to travel to other holiday locations. Having a Lidl supermarket just 100 yards away was very convenient. The house felt like a home rather than a hotel, providing a comfortable and private space. All the basic necessities were provided, and the town was within walking distance.
Although there were a few drawbacks, such as the lack of an additional toilet/shower room for six adults from two families, and the difficulty in locking the back door properly, the overall experience was fantastic. The house could have benefited from instructions on how to use the dishwasher and washing machine, as well as a contact number for emergencies or help with utilities.

The location is perfect, with the town center, bars, and restaurants just a stone's throw away. You won't have to worry about transportation as everything is within walking distance. there are supermarkets nearby, making it convenient to stock up on any essentials you may need. Plus, there's a Lidl supermarket just 100 yards away, offering even more convenience.
It would be beneficial to have an owner/contact phone number available in case of emergencies or if assistance is needed with utilities.

I absolutely loved the charming decor of the hotel. It had a lovely vintage touch that made me feel like I was in a cozy and elegant home. The general areas were well-maintained and provided plenty of comfortable seating for us seniors to relax and chat. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility for senior people was excellent. There were ramps and handrails to assist with mobility, making it easier for us to navigate around the hotel without any issues.
I would have appreciated a better vacation for senior people if there were more staff available to assist us. The children working there seemed overwhelmed at times and it would have been helpful to have more support in case any of us needed assistance or had questions.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, right in the center of the city, close to bars, restaurants, and supermarkets. It was so convenient being able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The cleanliness of the hotel was also top-notch, and we were very impressed with how well-maintained everything was. The hotel facilities were great, with a well-stocked kitchen that had everything we needed. Parking was a breeze, with plenty of off-street spots available. We also found the staff to be friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Nothing that we didn't like.

Great Location: the hotel is situated in a central area with easy access to supermarkets, pubs, and restaurants. It was also convenient for exploring nearby holiday destinations. Plus, having a Lidl supermarket just a stone's throw away was a huge bonus.
Lack of Communication: We experienced issues with the shower and bath outlet, but despite our attempts to contact someone for assistance, we received no response for four days.
